Job Summary:

Jascon Engineering WLL is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Estimation Engineer-Civil

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for

preparing accurate cost estimates

, reviewing tender documents, supporting project bidding processes, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure project success. This role plays a critical part in our business development and project planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Study and analyze drawings, specifications, and other tender documents to prepare detailed cost estimates. Identify and quantify material, labor, and equipment requirements for each project. Request, evaluate, and compare quotations from subcontractors and suppliers. Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and pricing sheets for tenders. Collaborate with design, procurement, and planning teams for input and clarification. Review post-tender clarifications and make necessary adjustments. Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings when required. Assist in the preparation of technical and commercial proposals. Maintain an updated database of prices, vendors, and subcontractors. Analyze risks and opportunities associated with the tender. Support the project handover process from estimation to execution.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in estimation for civil projects, preferably in Qatar or the GCC. Strong knowledge of local market rates, construction materials, and methods. Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Candy, CCS, Excel, AutoCAD). Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Knowledge of Qatar construction regulations and safety standards is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Strong analytical and numerical skills. Team player with the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously. Fluency in English (spoken and written); Arabic is an advantage.

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR4,500.00 per month
