Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced

Estimation Engineer

to join our interior fit-out team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, pricing, and BOQs for interior fit-out projects including warehouses, commercial, residential, retail, and hospitality spaces

Immediate joiners are preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Review project drawings, specifications, and requirements to prepare accurate estimates and tenders Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) Liaise with designers, architects, consultants, and project managers to understand project scope Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and quotations Analyze material, labor, and time requirements to determine overall project cost Prepare cost comparison sheets and value engineering options when needed Participate in tender submissions and client meetings as required Ensure timely submission of bids in accordance with client deadlines Track project costs and provide updated forecasts during project execution Maintain and update the cost database for various interior works Knowledge of MEP coordination is also preferred

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field Minimum 1-2+ years of relevant experience in estimation for interior fit-out projects Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and construction methods in interior works Proficient in estimation and quantity surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD, PlanSwift, Excel, CCS Candy, or similar) Good knowledge of local market rates and suppliers Strong negotiation, analytical, and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication
