Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled

Estimator

with experience in the

Aluminum and Facade industry

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for aluminum facades, windows, doors, curtain wall systems, and cladding projects, ensuring competitive pricing and timely tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities

Review architectural and structural drawings to understand project scope and requirements. Perform detailed

quantity take-offs

for aluminum profiles, glass, hardware, and accessories. Develop comprehensive

cost estimates

covering materials, fabrication, labor, equipment, and subcontracting. Prepare BOQs, quotations, and tender documents. Coordinate with suppliers to obtain pricing for materials and specialized systems. Conduct

value engineering

to propose cost-effective system alternatives. Analyze project risks, technical constraints, and installation requirements. Support the sales and project teams during pre-contract discussions and clarifications. Ensure all estimates comply with company standards and client specifications.

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field. Minimum

5-7 years of experience

in

aluminum, facade, glazing, or curtain wall estimation.

Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

, Microsoft Excel, and estimation tools. Understanding of fabrication processes, facade systems, and installation methods. Excellent numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and time management skills. Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
