Review and interpret tender documents, drawings, and technical specifications.
Prepare accurate cost estimates for fabrication, welding, machining, painting, assembly, and delivery.
Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for material and service quotations.
Prepare and submit detailed technical and commercial proposals.
Analyze cost drivers and propose value engineering solutions.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams for technical inputs.
Engage in client discussions for technical and commercial clarifications.
Maintain an updated database of suppliers, historical pricing, and project records.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum
5 years of experience
in estimation within fabrication, oil & gas, or EPC sectors.
In-depth knowledge of fabrication standards (ASME, API, ISO).
Strong proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and estimation tools.
Ability to read technical drawings, P&IDs, and fabrication plans.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
