Estimation Civil Engineer - Specialized in Swimming Pool and Landscaping Industry

Job description:

At least 8-10 years of estimation engineering experience in Middle East in a similar organization preferably of landscaping, irrigation, mechanical and electrical works. Responsible for accurately estimating the costs and resources required for various pools and landscape projects, ensuring the highest level of quality and client satisfaction. Conduct detailed analysis of tender and bid documentation for upcoming pools and landscape projects. Analyze project requirements, drawings, specifications, and other relevant information to accurately estimate costs. Prepare and submit accurate and competitive cost estimates, ensuring compliance with project requirements and specifications. Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to gather all necessary information and develop comprehensive estimates. Identify and quantify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options for each project. Review and understand contractual terms and conditions to ensure alignment with the estimates. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes and validate costs. Prepare and maintain a comprehensive database of costs, materials, and labor rates for future reference and benchmarking. Evaluate and analyze past project data and performance to continuously improve estimating accuracy and efficiency. Participate in project client meetings to provide insights and recommendations on the estimation process. Provide support and guidance to the project team during the execution phase, ensuring monitoring and control of costs. Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to pools and landscape estimation. Collaborate with project manager, sales & designs to assist in the preparation of professional proposals and presentations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering preferably with DM certificate. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience as an Estimation Engineer in the construction industry, specifically in pools and landscape projects. In-depth knowledge of pools and landscape construction methods, materials, and cost factors. Proficiency in estimating software and tools, such as AutoCAD and/or Primavera. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and drawings. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in estimating costs and quantities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Knowledge of local Landscape codes and regulations in the UAE. With Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
