The role will be responsible for conducting research and analysis on companies within the APAC (excluding China) region, providing investment recommendations to the investment team, and supporting the portfolio management process. This individual will work closely with the investment team to generate alpha and drive performance.

• Conduct research and analysis on companies within the APAC (excluding China) region, including financial modelling and valuation analysis.
• Monitor industry trends, company news, and other relevant developments that could impact the companies under coverage.
• Develop investment recommendations based on fundamental research and analysis, including buy/sell/hold ratings, price targets, and investment theses.
• Prepare and present reports, investment memos, and other materials to the investment team and senior management.
• Support the portfolio management process by providing insights and analysis on the companies in the portfolio and potential investment opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with company management teams, industry experts, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in due diligence on potential investments and assist in the execution of investment transactions.
• Stay abreast of regulatory changes, geopolitical developments, and other macroeconomic factors that could impact the companies under coverage.

Excellent exposure|Growth opportunities

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in equity research, preferably sector agnostic with a focus on the APAC region.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of relevant industries within the APAC (excluding China) region.
• Proficiency in relevant research tools, such as Bloomberg, FactSet, and Capital IQ.
• Professional certifications such as CFA are desirable.
• Language fluency in any APAC specific languages are a plus.
