- Engineer (Interior Fit-Out)

The Engineer - Interior Fit-Out shall be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing interior fit out works at project sites, ensuring quality, safety, timely completion, and compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and UAE regulations. The role involves close coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Execution & Site Management

Manage and supervise interior fit-out activities including gypsum partitions, ceilings, joinery, flooring, wall finishes, painting, tiling, and FF&E installations. Ensure execution as per approved shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements. Coordinate daily site activities and monitor progress against approved project schedules. Resolve site issues and technical challenges efficiently.

2. Planning & Coordination

Prepare daily, weekly, and look-ahead work programs. Coordinate with MEP, civil, and architectural teams to avoid clashes and ensure smooth workflow. Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers for technical clarifications and approvals.

3. Quality Control

Ensure works comply with project specifications, approved drawings, and quality standards. Conduct inspections and maintain QA/QC documentation. Prepare snag lists and ensure timely rectifications.

4. Health, Safety & Compliance

Enforce compliance with UAE HSE standards and project safety regulations. Conduct toolbox talks and ensure safe work practices at site.

5. Documentation & Reporting

Prepare and maintain daily site reports, material delivery records, inspection requests, and progress reports. Assist in measurement, quantity verification, and site coordination for billing purposes.

Qualification & Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Interior Design / Architecture or related discipline. Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in interior fit-out projects. Proven experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, and retail fit-out projects. Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, materials, and site execution standards.

Technical Skills

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, and BOQs. Knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and installation methods. Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project documentation tools. Good understanding of QA/QC and HSE procedures.
