to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and wiring on construction machinery, equipment, and vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on construction equipment (e.g., cranes, generators, mixers, compressors).
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in machinery and equipment control panels.
Install and test wiring systems, lighting, alternators, motors, and batteries in construction machinery.
Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime and extend asset life.
Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and service logs.
Assist in the installation of new equipment and ensure proper electrical connections.
Collaborate with mechanical technicians and engineers on multi-disciplinary repair tasks.
Report major faults or required parts to the Maintenance Engineer or PMV Manager.
Follow all site safety protocols and electrical safety procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or any equivalent trade certification.
3-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance of construction machinery.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Awareness of electrical safety in high-risk environments.
