Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced

Auto Electrician

specializing in heavy equipment and machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing electrical systems in heavy-duty machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, cranes, loaders, and trucks. The role requires strong technical knowledge of modern electrical systems and the ability to work in challenging environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair electrical faults in heavy equipment and machinery, including wiring, alternators, starter motors, lighting systems, and control panels. Install new electrical systems and components in heavy vehicles and machines. Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot issues in electronic control systems (ECUs, sensors, etc.). Repair or replace faulty wiring, switches, relays, fuses, and battery systems. Perform scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance to reduce downtime. Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and time spent on tasks. Collaborate with mechanical technicians for joint repair tasks where needed. Stay up to date with the latest advancements in heavy machinery electronics and diagnostics.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma/ ITI Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience as an auto electrician working with heavy equipment/machinery. Excellent understanding of heavy vehicle electrical systems, CAN bus, sensors, and control units. Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and service manuals. Skilled in using diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Physically fit and able to work in workshop and field environments. Valid driver's license (preferably with heavy vehicle endorsement).

Preferred:

Experience with brands such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, JCB, Hitachi, Liebherr, or similar. GCC or overseas experience is a plus. Basic knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems is an advantage.
