Street Lighting Design and Installation Street Lighting Maintenance and Repair. LED Street Lighting. Electrical Safety. Arc Flash Safety. Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
Electrical Testing and Inspection.


Technical knowledge

Familiar with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint


Good English communication skill
Good presentation skillsExperience

Minimum 5 years' experience with UAE Driving license

Responsibilities / Authorities Primary Functions

Inspection Responsibilities
1. Visual Inspection: Conduct a visual inspection of the streetlights, including the poles, luminaires, electrical components, and connections.
2. Electrical Testing: Perform electrical testing, including voltage, current, and power factor measurements, to ensure that the system is operating within safe and efficient limits.
3. Component Inspection: Inspect critical components, such as transformers, capacitors, and switches, to ensure that they are in good condition and function properly.
4. Documentation of Findings: Document all findings, including photographs, notes, and measurements, to provide a comprehensive record of the inspection.



Post-Inspection Responsibilities:


1. Analysis of Inspection Data: Analyze the inspection data to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues.


2. Recommendations for Repairs and Maintenance: Provide recommendations for repairs, maintenance, and upgrades to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the street lighting system.


3. Preparation of Inspection Report: Prepare a comprehensive inspection report that summarizes the findings, recommendations, and conclusions.


4. Presentation of Findings: Present the findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including maintenance personnel, engineers, and management.

1. Inspection Objectives

Ensure Public Safety:
Identify potential electrical hazards and ensure that the street lighting system is safe for the public.
Optimize Energy Efficiency:
Identify opportunities to improve the energy efficiency of the street lighting system.
Extend Asset Life:
Identify maintenance and repair needs to extend the life of the street lighting assets.
Compliance with Regulations:
Ensure that the street lighting system complies with relevant electrical safety standards and regulations.



2. Inspection Scope

Visual Inspection:
Conduct a visual inspection of the streetlights, including poles, luminaires, electrical components, and connections.
Electrical Testing:
Perform electrical testing, including voltage, current, and power factor measurements.
Component Inspection:
Inspect critical components, such as transformers, capacitors, and switches.


3. Inspection Tools and Equipment

Electrical Testing Equipment:
The inspection team will use specialized electrical testing equipment, such as multimeters and power quality analyzers.
Visual Inspection Tools:
The inspection team will use visual inspection tools, such as binoculars and cameras.



4. Inspection Report

Comprehensive Report:
The inspection team will provide a comprehensive report detailing the findings, recommendations, and conclusions.
Photographs and Videos:
The report will include photographs and videos to support the findings and recommendations.


5. Cost Estimate

Inspection Cost:
The inspection cost will be estimated based on the scope of work, inspection frequency, and inspection team composition.
Repair and Maintenance Cost:
The report will include an estimate of the repair and maintenance cost required to address the identified issues.
