Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Dry Cleaner to join our team. The Dry Cleaner will be responsible for cleaning, finishing garments and textiles according to customer specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect garments for stains, damage, or special care requirements. Operate dry cleaning machines and other finishing equipment (e.g., steamers, presses, spotting boards). Treat stains with appropriate chemicals and techniques before cleaning. Press and finish garments to a high-quality standard. Handle specialty items such as wedding gowns, formal wear, and delicate fabrics. Tag and organize customer items properly. Communicate with customers regarding special instructions or concerns. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals and equipment. Perform minor repairs (e.g., sewing buttons, fixing hems) if required.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in dry cleaning or garment care is preferred but not required (training can be provided). Familiarity with different fabric types and care requirements. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
