Key Responsibilities:

Please note that this is not a comprehensive list of everything that you will do. Habtoor Team Members will always endeavor to find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their colleagues. Your key responsibilities for this position are:

To adhere to grooming standards at all times. To follow and maintain all standards and procedures for Housekeeping service. Attends shift briefings. To work in assigned areas of Housekeeping where instructed by Housekeeping Management. Prepare dry cleaning machine for operation. Clean the lint filter, checks solvent level in the tank and ensures adequate supply. Separates garments sent for dry cleaning according to color, amount of soil and type of fabric. To ensure that guest services are met on time and urgent inquires are done promptly. Makes sure that all items for dry cleaning are correctly marked. To check and test garments for color fastening. Make sure all stains / damages are brought to Supervisor or Manager attention. Techniques and chemicals are to be approved before spotting by the Supervisor or Manager. Remove all spots and stains, before dry cleaning. Checks all buttons in regards of color and damages before putting in the dry cleaning machine. Wash by hand special fabrics that cannot be dry cleaned. To perform special projects as assigned. To refill chemicals, clean filters and service the machines. To assist the pressman and valet whenever necessary. Helps or train others to learn the skills of a dry cleaner. To ensure that working equipment and materials are clean and in order for the next day. To ensure cost savings in regards of linen and chemicals at all times. To attend and be active in all trainings provided by the Hotel. To attend briefings and being informed at all times. To be aware and make full use of the Hotel recycling facilities. Gifts from guests must be accompanied by a signed authorization from the guest and security to approve it before it can be removed from the Resort. To adhere to all Hotel Policies and Procedures. To know Fire / Bomb procedures and regulations. To report to your Supervisor of Security anything or anyone suspicious. To report as appropriate any Health and Safety hazards. To ensure that any accidents (however minor) are documented and reported. Any other duties as directed by the management. Ensuring all food hygiene and health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to and implements any legislation as required by UAE Law.

Pay: AED1,100.00 - AED1,200.00 per month
