About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Draughtsman to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As an office-based MEP Draughtsman, you will play a crucial role in designing and overseeing MEP systems for various construction projects, ensuring optimal performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with local building codes and regulations.
Develop comprehensive MEP designs for commercial and residential buildings using advanced software tools
Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other project stakeholders to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into overall building designs
Perform load calculations and equipment sizing for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
Create detailed drawings, specifications, and technical reports for MEP installations
Conduct energy modeling and analysis to optimize building performance and sustainability
Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards
Review and approve shop drawings and submittals from contractors and vendors
Provide technical support during construction phases, including site visits and inspections
Troubleshoot MEP-related issues and propose effective solutions
Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in MEP engineering
What do we need from you
Bachelor's degree ior Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP design for commercial and residential buildings
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) software
Experience with energy modeling software and sustainable design practices
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and plumbing systems
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams
