Job Description

We are looking for a Draftsman with a solid background in interior fit-out & landscaping projects to join our growing team in the UAE. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of proven experience in the UAE fit-out & landscaping industry, with expertise in producing detailed drawings for high-end commercial, retail, and residential interiors & landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed and accurate shop drawings, joinery details, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD. Coordinate with design, engineering, and site teams to ensure smooth execution of fit-out works. Prepare and coordinate drawings submission for Local Authority Approvals (DM, DDA,?Trakhees,?etc). Ensure all drawings adhere to local authority regulations and project specifications. Maintain drawing documentation and support the submission process for client and authority approvals. Revise drawings based on markups, site changes, and client feedback. Collaborate with head of design to understand the design needs, preferences, Develop innovative and sustainable landscape designs that align with client requirements and site conditions. Create detailed plans and shop drawings as per specifications and budget. Select suitable softscape, hardscape materials, and other elements to achieve desired aesthetic, modern and functional goals. Oversee the construction process to ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and timelines. Provide guidance on maintenance practices and sustainable landscaping techniques to preserve the long-term integrity of the landscape. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in landscape architecture.

Requirements:

Diploma or bachelor's degree in architecture, Interior Design, or related field. Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit or SketchUp knowledge is a plus. Strong understanding engineering & architectural principles. Ability to interpret technical documents & specifications. Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
