Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented
Draftsman (2D & 3D - MEP & Architectural)
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings and 3D models for both
architectural
and
MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing)
works, ensuring all drawings meet project standards and requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed
2D drawings
and
3D models
for architectural layouts, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire fighting systems.
Work closely with architects and engineers to convert design concepts into accurate technical drawings.
Develop
shop drawings
,
as-built drawings
, and
coordination layouts
.
Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure drawing compatibility and avoid design clashes.
Revise and update drawings based on feedback from the design or site team.
Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, specifications, and local regulations.
Maintain organized drawing records and assist with project documentation.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Drafting, or MEP Engineering.
Minimum
2-5 years of experience
as a Draftsman in architectural and MEP projects.
Proficient in
AutoCAD (2D)
and
Revit (3D)
; knowledge of
SketchUp
,
Navisworks
, or
3ds Max
is a plus.
Strong understanding of
architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
.
Good coordination and communication skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with
UAE construction standards
and
municipality drawing submissions
.
* Knowledge of
BIM coordination
and 3D visualization tools.
