to assist in the preparation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) drawings and layouts using AutoCAD and/or Revit. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of senior engineers and draftsmen to ensure that design drawings are accurate, up to date, and compliant with relevant standards and codes.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed 2D and 3D MEP drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD software.
Draft layouts for mechanical (HVAC), electrical, and plumbing systems as per project specifications and design standards.
Assist in coordinating MEP services with architectural and structural elements.
Modify existing drawings based on engineering redlines and markups.
Maintain organized records of drawings and documents.
Collaborate with the design and engineering team to ensure timely delivery of drawings.
Ensure compliance with company CAD standards and MEP drafting practices.
Attend project meetings when required to understand design intent and changes.
Qualifications:
Diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Drafting or related field.
0-2 years of experience in MEP drafting (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP is a strong plus.
Familiarity with MEP systems (HVAC, lighting, power, plumbing, fire protection).
Basic understanding of construction and engineering drawings.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines.
