Job Description

Identify, develop, and implement potential business opportunities in minerals Mid-Stream and Down-Stream investments in-line with our Business Plans and investment mandate. Responsible for activities related to the business development process, review of investment proposals including project screening, economic evaluation and risk assessments, development of project schedules and requisite project agreements.

Technical:

1.Map the downstream opportunities for Industrial & Metallic Minerals in-line with the priorities in our 5 Year Business Plan,

2.Ascertain broad level demand estimates in Addressable Markets for above downstream opportunities for screening,

3.Comply with company' investment processes to shortlist and prioritize projects based on set criteria for further evaluation till the Final Investment Decision,

4.Comply with the Stage Gate Review process for evaluation of investment opportunities including project screening, economic evaluation and risk assessments, development of project schedules and requisite project agreements.

5.Locate and finalize Partners based on Partner Selection Criteria set by the Management.

6.Develop a Risk Register for Projects/ Investments with mitigation plans and maintain till the Final Investment Decision,

7.Finalize Memorandum of Understanding/ Term Sheet with shortlisted partners to jointly conduct detailed feasibility study for projects.

8.Develop budgets for market and feasibility studies, administrative expenses etc.

9.Finalize consultants for Market Assessment and Feasibility Studies to ascertain viability of the project/ Investment,

10.Assist Legal team with commercial points in drafting agreements such as Shareholders' Agreement, Off- take Agreements etc.

11.Hand over Project documents to Project Development Department after FID.

Requirements

1. Graduate degree in engineering with MBA will be preferred

2. At least 15 years of relevant experience in investment management and development of minerals downstream greenfield projects

Technical skills:

-Deep knowledge of industry/ sector trends in terms of market environment and technological developments,

-Strong industry network to pursue potential partnership options.

-Effective communication skills to interface with potential partners, government agencies and industry bodies.

-Working knowledge of financial analysis

-Strong written communication skills for preparing Investment Decision Papers
