To lead and drive sustainable and profitable market share growth of adidas in the MENA region by continuously reviewing business expansion opportunities in current & new markets & driving sales excellence based on competitive insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
Support in the identification and execution of MENA sales priorities and in creating aspirational long-term vision for EM Moonshot
Continuously look for opportunities in new markets, create and execute strategic business plans in close collaboration with Finance, DTC & EM HUB, providing a consolidated category, channel and country level assessment, framework, and targets for MENA
Ensure communication of a consistent narrative on the MENA Sales plan through the organization by securing alignment with Internal Comms and collaborating closely with EM & global teams
Act as end-to-end internal consultant playing role of challenger and sparring partner for MENA & EM sales organization by providing the relevant local insights and data to support informed decision making.
Drive standardization and harmonization of tools and sales processes and implementation of best practices in clusters.
Drive future marketplace initiatives.
Ensure high employee engagement at every level through effective motivation, coaching, training, and development of personnel in the team.
Strategic Execution & Project Management:
Ability to support and drive significant initiatives and action plans (e.g. brand carve outs, capability roll-outs, sustainability projects, etc.)
Support business case development for new initiatives and business models through to approval by relevant stakeholders
Apply Global Project Management toolkit and approach ensuring consistency through MENA
Provide ongoing communication and tracking of progress for priority projects to the Leadership Team and identified stakeholders, highlighting successes and interventions required and assessing ultimate impact and learning
Lead, facilitate, manage and support specific cross-functional projects and change management as required
Consumer / Market Intelligence:
Lead the delivery of Market Intelligence (MI) to deliver broad insights supporting high quality business decisions
Feed into and utilize a led standardized insights toolkit approach across the market

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 15 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in the retail and trade marketing Industry, ideally in apparel/fashion/shoes or FMCG, with an operational background and working across different countries and cultures in the MENA region
Advanced numeracy and literacy, with good IT skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
