The Director, as the academic and administrative leader, has to ensure the establishment and successful operation of the Institute by directing the planning, coordination, implementation, administration of the curriculum, educational management and student wellbeing functions. As the leading member of the Management Team, the Director conceptualizes and implements strategic plans and provides leadership in establishing and maintaining an educational community of students and staff, with a core responsibility for developing the learning model of independent, life-long learning. The role of the Director is to build the Institute as a leader in education, and to prepare the students for the next generation of growth and innovation.

• This position acts as a representative and ambassador to promote positive internal and external relationships and strong partnerships
• Cooperates with the relevant senior staff from the Directorate to plan, coordinate and initiate business plans and recommends changes
• Ensures that policies, strategies and goals are clearly understood by all stakeholders, and facilitates the development, maintenance, and monitoring of curriculum and operational plans so that business and strategic objectives at all levels are achieved at an optimum pace
• Provides academic and educational leadership through the example of their own team accomplishments and through systematic communication to all stakeholders
• Sets goals, develops staff, monitors work, and evaluates results to ensure that project and organizational objectives and operating requirements are met and are in line with the needs and mission of the Organization
• Facilitates close and effective relationships throughout the organization and participates in and nurtures broad networks of alliances with others to exchange knowledge and information about learning and change in support of change initiatives
• Ensures that resource effective policies, procedures and infrastructure are in place to support operations in vocational training and education environment
• Identifies and leads new business development opportunities and ensures highly productive relationships and partnerships are developed and maintained
• Monitors and reports on the resourceful management of the Institute, in the areas of\' finance, human resources, academic, student welfare and community discipline
• Serves on committees and councils as directed by the Senior Director, Educational Institutions

Required Qualifications:

Master Degree in Engineering, Science, Computer Science or Math required Bachelor Degree in above subjects required Phd definite asset

Required Experience:

• 10 years experience working in College or University at Senior Management Level
• Sound understanding of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector
• Knowledge of Academic Governance, Educational Institutional Effectiveness, Higher Educational Institute policies, standards, procedures and practices

Monthly Salary Range:

TAX FREE Monthly Salary is up to AED 30,431

Housing:

First 29 days employee stays in a hotel suite. Housing Allowance provided for employee to find accommodation (Help will be given) Monthly Housing Allowance is as follows: AED 12,480/- (Single) and 15,600/- (Married) Abu Dhabi AED 9,984/- (Single) and AED 12,480/- (Married) \xe2\x80\x93 Outside Abu Dhabi RELOCATION ALLOWANCE: AED 25,000/- for overseas candidates (paid in two instalments Half after arrival and the other Half after passing the Probation period of 6 months)

Health Insurance Coverage:

Provided for employee, spouse and up to 3 dependent children

Annual Air Tickets:

Cash Allowance given based on home country location for employee, spouse and up to 3 dependent children

Leave:

In addition to official holidays, paid leave is allocated as per academic calendar and as per the country Labour law. Minimum 30 work days per year

Dependant School Fees:

School Tuition of 80,000 AED per family, maximum 40K per child This allowance to be used for tuition fees, exam fees, text books, uniform, school transport \xe2\x80\x93 (all must be official invoices from the school)

Visa & Medical Check Fees:

VISA fees and Medical check done in the country for Residency Visa are paid by the school for Employee only

End Of Service Benefit:

Receive 21 days Basic Salary for each full year of service. Plus economy air ticket back to place of permanent residence according to Labour Law of the country
