Description

Job Responsibilities * Participation in the creation of the company's strategy and its implementation in the area of sheet metal production, consistent with the assumed business goals, within an international group

• Operational management and ensuring the correct and effective ionization function of the sheet metal production department
• Preparation, scheduling, monitoring, and effective implementation of production plans of ordered sheets
• Initiating, developing, and implementing new technologies aimed at improving the production process, ensuring its optimization and improvement
• Coordinating the cooperation of individual production sections, solving current problems in order to ensure smooth operations and high quality of manufactured products, in accordance with customer approvals and orders
• Management of employee resources, care for production safety and supervision over compliance with health and safety regulations
• Preparing reports for the Management Board, including conducting a risk assessment in the field of its production
• Ongoing monitoring of the condition of machines and production equipment, inferring their modernization and improvements, in order to avoid downtime, failures and eliminate quality defects
• Close cooperation with the management staff and other units in the company's structure and the group

Experience / Qualifications * Higher technical education, preferred direction: metallurgy, plastic processing, heat treatment, foundry, industrial automation

• Experience in working in a managerial position in a company with a metallurgical profile
• Knowledge of the industry and products
• Experience in project management, including experience in working on a project co-financed from external sources of financing
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and the ability to implement them
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written English, enabling free contact in an international environment
• Highly developed skills: strategic planning, analytical, problem solving, delegating tasks, setting, and achieving goals, orientation and result orientation
• Knows the ability to communicate effectively, very good organization of work, punctuality
• and responsibility for the tasks entrusted
