Description
Define and execute the overall data science strategy, aligning it with the commercial objectives and growth ambitions of the new hospitality organisation.Lead the design, development, and deployment of end-to-end data science solutions, including predictive modelling, customer segmentation, recommendation engines, pricing optimisation, and fraud detection.Apply advanced machine learning techniques (e.g., deep learning, reinforcement learning) to solve complex business problems, drawing parallels and transferring knowledge from gaming-specific challenges.Build, lead, and mentor a team of data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.Collaborate closely with engineering, product, marketing, and operations teams to integrate data science solutions into core business processes and platforms.Identify and evaluate emerging data science tools, technologies, and methodologies, ensuring the organisation remains at the forefront of analytical innovation.
Profile
Master's or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in data science, with at least 3 years in a leadership or directorial role.Demonstrable strong experience (5+ years preferred) within the gaming industry, with a deep understanding of player behaviour, monetisation strategies, live operations, and engagement analytics.
