We are looking for an experienced
DI Pipe Technician
skilled in the installation, repair, and maintenance of
Ductile Iron (DI) water pipelines
. The candidate should be experienced in jointing, fittings, alignment, and supporting site teams during pipeline construction and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and assemble
DI pipes
, fittings, valves, and accessories as per specifications.
Execute pipe alignment, cutting, chamfering, and surface preparation.
Carry out mechanical jointing, flange connection, and bolt tightening.
Assist with
pressure testing / hydrotesting
preparations.
Support pipeline repair works (leak rectification, collar installation, dismantling, etc.).
Follow safety procedures and maintain tools/equipment.
Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors for work planning.
Requirements:
Minimum
3+ years experience
in DI pipe installation (UAE experience preferred).
Strong skills in mechanical jointing, fittings, and pipeline support works.
Knowledge of water pipeline standards and safety procedures.
Ability to read basic drawings and follow instructions.
Physically fit and able to work in field conditions.
