Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems and networks. This role requires a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues effectively.

Duties

Provide first-level support for desktop hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting and resolving problems related to operating systems and applications. Assist users with network connectivity issues, including TCP/IP configuration and computer networking. Utilize Remedy or similar ticketing systems to track, prioritize, and manage support requests. Analyze system performance and provide recommendations for improvements. Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments as needed. Collaborate with other IT staff to ensure efficient operation of the organization's IT infrastructure. Conduct regular maintenance on computer systems to ensure optimal performance. Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to user inquiries and providing effective solutions.

Qualifications

Proven experience in desktop support or a related IT field. Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows) and software troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with IT infrastructure components and computer networking principles. Experience with Remedy or similar ticketing systems is a plus. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to diagnose technical issues effectively. Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: AED3,550.00 - AED3,650.00 per month
