Job Description

Urgent requirement for Desktop Support Engineers. The candidates should :

Have effective verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, communication skills Build and maintain relationships with key executives, business personnel, SME Experience working in multi-locational & multi-national project environment. Knowledgeable on O365.

Candidates currently in UAE and able to join immediately preferred.



Roles and Responsibilities / :



Provide expert onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and basic server administration. Support team members with resolving client issues. Well versed on Windows OS and Mac OS. Knowledge on mobile device management. Handling PC / laptops OS, Apps, Outlook and Mailbox related issues. Manage hardware and software assets. Manage file servers and printer servers. Should have good knowledge on creating & restoring the systems with approved OS images & apps, backing up & restoration of user data. Follow task creation, work, closure, and escalation procedures. Address user tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking. Creating users, security groups in Azure AD. Creating email accounts in O365. Troubleshoot O365 related issues. Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery. Maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments. Hands-on experience in networking, routing, and switching. Thorough understanding of TCP/IP and networking concepts. Troubleshoot network and wireless connectivity of corporate users. Assist users in connecting Video conferencing applications such as Zoom, Webex, etc. Walk users through installing applications and computer peripherals. Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems. Customize desktop applications to meet user needs. Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel and follow up till closure. Follow up with users to ensure their systems are functional. Help create technical documentation and manuals. Basic knowledge on Switch, Router and Firewall functionalities.

Requirements:



Bachelors Degree in Technology / Engineering. Minimum 3 years experience in the relevant environment. Excellent Problem-solving, Documentation, Troubleshooting and Communication skills. Able to work well in a team setting
