You will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency by resolving technical issues, performing preventive maintenance, managing IT assets, and ensuring end-user satisfaction. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting and has a passion for delivering excellent IT support in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide
tier 1 IT support
to head office and branch staff, resolving hardware and software issues.
Build and maintain strong relationships with
IT service providers
to ensure timely issue resolution.
Close help desk tickets promptly, ensuring high
end-user satisfaction
.
Perform
preventive maintenance
on desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
Handle basic
repairs, installations, and configurations
of systems and peripheral devices.
Report recurring issues or escalated user complaints to the Line Manager.
Submit
monthly incident reports
to support continuous improvement in IT services.
Maintain and regularly update the
IT asset inventory
and capacity reports for all locations.
Raise purchase requisitions for new IT requirements after appropriate approval.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
Education & Qualifications
Diploma in
Computer Science, IT
, or a related field
Advanced IT certifications
preferred (e.g., Microsoft Desktop Support Technician)
Must possess a
valid driving license
Experience Requirements
Minimum
2 years of experience
in IT or desktop support
Experience providing
technical support
for hardware, software, and peripherals
Knowledge & Skills
Strong technical knowledge of
PCs, desktops, laptops, printers
, and common peripherals
Familiarity with commonly used
software applications
in a business environment
Up-to-date on
IT tools, hardware trends, and gadgets
Excellent
communication, presentation, and interpersonal
