Desktop Engineer

to join our team in

. This role is ideal for individuals who have a strong technical background and a passion for providing excellent user support and system maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for desktop hardware, software, and peripheral devices. Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, office applications, and internal systems. Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on desktops, laptops, and related equipment. Respond to user inquiries and resolve technical issues promptly, either remotely or on-site. Maintain and update inventory records of IT equipment and software licenses. Ensure data backups and system security protocols are properly implemented. Coordinate with the network and server teams for issue escalation and resolution. Prepare documentation for procedures, user guides, and IT policies. Assist in onboarding of new users by setting up systems and granting appropriate access rights.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Proven experience as a Desktop Engineer or in a similar IT support role. Proficiency in Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common IT tools. Familiarity with networking concepts and basic troubleshooting. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified) are a plus.
