Job Title: Desktop Engineer (Female Candidate)

Location: Sharjah, United Arab Emirates

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Desktop Engineer to join our IT operations team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive support in the domain of End User Support, ensuring seamless operation of desktop systems, AV infrastructure, and collaboration tools.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, software, and peripherals. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and network connectivity. Provide support for end-users via phone, email, or in-person. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory. Ensure timely updates and patching of operating systems and applications. Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure proper documentation. Assist in onboarding/offboarding processes including device setup and recovery. Provide operational support in the domain of End User Support. Manage incidents, service requests, problems, and IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities. Support technologies including Windows OS, MS Office, Email, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VOIP phones, and application software. Perform installation, upgrades, configuration, and advanced troubleshooting of computers, peripherals, and communication devices. Install, support, and maintain PC applications in a Windows environment. Attend and resolve end-user tickets and incidents promptly. Maintain AV equipment including hardware, software, and infrastructure through diagnostic testing and resolution. Monitor alerts related to Audio & Video infrastructure. Provide AV support for conference rooms and meetings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in desktop support and AV systems. Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network components. Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile
