Design customized ambulance interiors including cabinetry, oxygen systems, electrical layouts, and medical equipment placement.
Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure compliance with health and transportation regulations.
Generate technical documentation and modification revisions.
Ensure ergonomic and functional design in line with ambulance industry standards.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical Design, Interior Vehicle Design, or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in ambulance design or medical vehicle conversion.
Expertise in 2D/3D CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
Understanding of medical equipment integration and electrical systems.
Knowledge of healthcare vehicle standards and certifications (e.g. KKK-A-1822, NFPA 1917).
