Key Responsibilities:Design & Estimation:
Develop detailed designs for fire protection systems including fire alarms, sprinklers, suppression systems, and emergency lighting.
Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and technical proposals for installation, repair, and AMC projects.
Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to support design and estimation.
Ensure compliance with local fire codes, NFPA standards, and other relevant regulations.
Project Coordination & Management:
Collaborate with project managers and technicians to ensure smooth execution of projects.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Support procurement and vendor coordination for materials and equipment.
Business Development & Client Engagement:
Assist in identifying new business opportunities and client segments.
Participate in client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions.
Provide pre-sales technical support and post-sales follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive records of designs, estimates, and project documentation.
Generate periodic reports for management on project status, cost analysis, and business leads.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Fire Safety Engineering.
3 to 6 years of experience in fire protection system design and estimation.
Strong knowledge of NFPA standards, local fire codes, and safety regulations.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and estimation software.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
Business development mindset with strategic thinking and client focus.
Preferred Attributes:
Experience in AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) planning and execution.
Leadership qualities and team management experience.
Certification in fire safety or related fields is a plus.
