Safety World Group, a leader in MEP installations and fire protection since 1993, is searching for a skilled and detail-oriented

Design and Estimation Engineer

to join our team in Abu Dhabi. We are looking for a professional with a strong background in fire safety systems who can contribute to the successful execution of our projects across Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities

Design and estimate

various fire protection systems, including firefighting, fire alarm, voice evacuation, and emergency lighting (STD, Monitoring & CBS) for commercial and industrial projects.

Perform precise hydraulic calculations

for fire pumps to ensure system efficiency and compliance.

Ensure strict adherence

to the UAE Fire Code, NFPA standards, and other relevant codes in all designs.

Prepare comprehensive technical drawings

, specifications, and accurate cost estimates for project bids.

Conduct site visits

to gather project requirements and provide technical support during the installation and commissioning phases.

Review and approve

shop drawings and material submittals from vendors and contractors.

Stay current

on the latest fire protection technologies and industry best practices.

Support project coordination

, including scheduling and budgeting, to ensure projects stay on track.

Provide technical expertise

to the sales team for client meetings and presentations.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree

in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 3-5 years of UAE experience

in the design and estimation of fire protection systems.

Strong knowledge

of

NFPA standards

, UAE Civil Defense requirements, and related building codes.

Proficiency

in relevant software, including

AutoCAD

and hydraulic calculation software like

HASS

.

Excellent command of English

, both written and verbal. Highly

detail-oriented

with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member
