Key Responsibilities
- Design fire alarm and fire fighting systems for small, medium, and large-scale projects, ensuring compliance with UAE fire codes and NFPA-72
- Prepare detailed estimates for fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, voice evacuation, and PAVA systems based on project specifications
- Review and analyze blueprints, drawings, and project documentation to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements
- Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to gather necessary information and ensure the accuracy of estimates
- Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate project requirements and identify potential challenges
- Research and source materials and equipment required for fire alarm system installations
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices in fire and life safety solutions
Required Skills and Experience
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Certification in Fire Alarm & ELV Systems is a plus
Experience
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in fire alarm system design and estimation
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm, emergency lighting, voice evacuation, and PAVA systems
- Experience working with UAE fire codes, NFPA-72, and life safety regulations
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in fire alarm system design software and estimation tools
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and project specifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for accurate cost estimation
