Job Description

We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and detail-oriented Junior Chef de Partie (DCDP) to join our kitchen team. The Junior Chef de Partie will assist in food preparation and cooking in their designated kitchen section, maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and efficiency. You will be responsible for supporting senior chefs, learning the trade, and executing tasks to contribute to a high-performing kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes to the highest standards in the designated section Ensure all food is prepared according to the recipe, portion control, and presentation guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Adhere to health and safety regulations, including food storage, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness. Follow company protocols for food handling and kitchen equipment.

Teamwork & Collaboration:

Work closely with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service. Support and assist the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef as needed. Contribute to the overall success of the kitchen by being an active part of the team.

Inventory Management:

Assist in stock management, ensuring that ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Report any stock shortages or discrepancies to the senior chef in charge.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, though training can be provided. Passion for cooking and food quality.

Technical Skills:

Good knowledge of kitchen equipment and basic cooking techniques. Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.

Personal Attributes:

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and a keen interest in learning.
