Job Description

As a Data Governance Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality, consistency, security, integrity, and compliance of data in the context of a large Industry 4.0 Transformation Program for a strategic Group Client, at a Domain Design Authority level.



The position requires close collaboration with various stakeholders, including IT and OT Leaders, Architects, Business, and Senior Management, to promote and enforce a culture of data excellence

Your Role

Drive the overall data quality function for a large Capgemini-delivered Industry 4.0 Transformation Program to include data profiling, data cleansing, data contextualization, and data enrichment for data required to support the Programs goals and Use Cases. Work closely with Capgemini-delivered Data Strategy Program: + to ensure a unified and consistent approach is being shaped across the different Programs
+ to review existing data controls, align on recommended additional controls as per Data Strategy, and derive them for the Industry 4.0 Transformation Program
Leverage data management knowledge to maintain and define data quality and metadata processes, participates in development of data quality rules, thresholds, and standard metrics/quality-expectations for data elements that support critical business processes. Coordinate with global and regional data stewards, business SMEs and data owners to define, develop, and maintain data quality rules and metadata. Participate in solutioning teams to partner with client, provide data management experience, including understanding of concepts, practices, procedures, and tools providing strong analytical. Define replicable assets, policies, processes, standards and patterns to ensure reusability and speed to delivery increase in the context of the Industry 4.0 Transformation Program. Enforce the implementation and usage of replicable patterns through coordinating with Use Cases teams as well as through the Domain Design Authority mandate. Collating and reviewing data requirements (specific details - complete, timeliness and accuracy specifications) from data consumers. Ability to understand meta data - lineage, definitions and trusted data sources. Ability to search and consolidate critical data elements information in meta data tools. Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations. Identify and mitigate data-related risks Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure alignment of data governance initiatives with business objectives.

Your Skills

Experience in data analysis, data categorization, business requirement gathering, dashboarding and reporting. Industry experience in the sectors of metal manufacturing or mining. Advanced experience in IT/OT environment and IT/OT convergence data topics, including associated protocols to exchange and share data. Technical understanding of the following environment: Azure, OLTP/OLAP and SQL/NoSQL DBs, Databricks, Power BI, Collibra/Informatica, SAP ECC, HANA as a plus Experience with data contextualization, data masking, and anonymization techniques. Experience in defining governance in ontology-oriented environments is a plus. Understanding of Agile, SAFe principles.
