Job Overview
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting educational and operational data, creating interactive dashboards, validating school system data, and providing insight to guide school performance. Your work will directly contribute to improving learning outcomes, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting standards.
What You'll Do

• Analyze academic and administrative data to support strategic planning across schools
• Design Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and visual reports for school leaders and stakeholders
• Perform data cleaning, merging, and modeling to unify information from various platforms
• Evaluate trends and patterns to provide actionable insights for school performance improvements
• Validate school assessment structures and data configurations within School Management Systems
• Support academic module configurations and troubleshooting in the school database
• Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to streamline data integration
• Train staff on data tools, systems usage, and reporting functions
• Identify and resolve data quality issues while maintaining documentation and version control
• Assist with KHDA inspection reporting and internal reviews
• Support coding tasks, database queries, and optimization of analytics pipelines using Power Query and DAX
• Recommend new data tools or processes for ongoing efficiency improvements

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a data-focused role, preferably within the education sector
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools
• Excellent understanding of data modeling, cleaning, and validation techniques
• Experience working with academic databases, School Management Systems, or similar platforms
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present data insights clearly to non-technical users
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of handling large data sets accurately
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities
