The Cashier - School Finance Operations Dubai UAE will serve as the first point of contact for financial transactions within the school, ensuring smooth handling of tuition payments, petty cash disbursements, and banking deposits. The role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism, particularly when dealing with international families and high-profile clients.
Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process tuition and fee payments, ensuring accurate recording and receipting
• Handle petty cash disbursements and maintain reconciliation records
• Prepare and submit banking deposits in coordination with finance procedures
• Maintain records of fee concessions and other school-related income
• Support the accounts team with day-to-day financial operations and reporting
• Adhere to GEMS policies, financial protocols, and compliance standards
• Provide courteous service to parents and school visitors during financial transactions

Job Requirements

• High school certificate required; diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting or cashiering role
• Proficiency in data entry and financial record management
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Good interpersonal and communication skills for working with staff and parents
• Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute to team success
