What You'll Do As a highly experienced Customs and Trade professional, you will be responsible for shaping, implementing, and measuring the health associated to elements of Cisco's Global Trade Compliance Program. This job is accountable for ensuring trade compliance across various supply chain and logistics routes, within the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions (EMEA). You'll have the opportunity to be visible, interacting with senior management and engaging in matrix-management projects, making you a key influencer and partner helping develop and support Cisco's evolving Global Trade Compliance Program. * Stay abreast of and partner with our corporate functions on developments concerning trade laws, regulations, and policies and subsequently, plan and implement mitigation and compliance plans throughout Cisco's operational groups. * Support the development of Trade Compliance import policies related to key importing processes and procedures, e.g., Classification, Country of Origin, Valuation and Recordkeeping * Lead, develop and participate in global trade compliance audits and assessments. * Within your responsible region, identify and advise on potential trade compliance issues - using independent judgement raise trade compliance matters to senior leadership and key decision-making organizations for resolution. * Establish and maintain relationships with global cross-functional external logistics partners and the product compliance organization to help achieve trade compliance and realize efficiencies within Cisco's supply chains. Who You'll Work With You will be joining Cisco's Global Tax and Customs Team (GTC), as a leader within the EMEA Regional Customs team. Within this group you'll be working with some of Cisco's largest logistics partners to enable and ensure trade compliance execution through our various supply chains. You'll be working cross-functionally with various trade corporate teams, supply chain groups, and extended partners, such as Product Compliance, to implement Cisco's Global Trade Program (imports & exports). We're a global group of Global Tax and Customs professionals with diverse backgrounds and passions - we embrace new ways of thinking, while helping Cisco ensure our products are delivered stays in sync with our customers' needs in mind. Who You Are The successful candidate will bring excellent technical foresight in trade compliance applied to supply chain operations; strong customer focus; proven track record for enabling trade-related business solutions; and solid integrity and ethics. At a minimum, we expect you to have a BA/BS, 8 years' experience delivering dynamic solutions within a supply chain, and/or logistics role, as well as strong knowledge and demonstrated skills and experiences in all areas of Import/Customs compliance.
