Job Brief

We are seeking an experienced

Cross Trade Executive

with a

freight forwarding and logistics background

.
Only candidates who have directly handled

cross-trade pricing, rate negotiations with shipping lines, and international routing coordination

will be considered.

The ideal candidate will have strong commercial awareness, stakeholder management capability, and the ability to deliver competitive quotations that support profitable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Provide accurate

cross-trade quotations

to internal teams, customers, branches, and network partners. Negotiate competitive

ocean freight rates

and secure space confirmations with shipping lines, especially across Asia and China. Handle pricing requests from overseas branches, customers, and partner networks. Coordinate with customers and agents to provide timely shipment updates. Procure buy rates and share routing/carrier/contract details with the operations team for execution. Respond to pricing requests using CRM and quotation systems within defined SLAs. Follow up on pending quotations to convert opportunities into business. Monitor market and competitor rates to ensure pricing remains competitive. Participate in weekly/monthly progress reviews and share reports as required. Support RFQ and tender pricing for key accounts when needed.

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory:

Experience in

Freight Forwarding / Logistics

industry. Proven experience in

Cross-Trade Pricing

or

International Ocean Freight Pricing

. Strong commercial understanding of market rates, carrier pricing structures, and routing. Experience negotiating rates with

shipping lines / NVOCCs

. Proficiency in CRM and quotation management tools. Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet timelines with accuracy and detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
