Ensures processes are completed safely and in a timely fashion. Provides professional & efficient services relating to the delivery & pick-up (by vehicle) of customer packages whilst ensuring that all FedEx & legal requirements relating to the safe & secure movement of packages are met. Performs all activities without compromising safe working/driving practices. Performs physical loading/unloading of trucks/containers & sortation of documents &/or boxes, ensuring accurate completion within defined timeframes. Performs defined pre & post trip vehicle checks including ensuring adequate levels of supplies and completing accurate & timely Vehicle Inspection Report documentation. Ensures that all necessary documentation (delivery records, pick-up manifests, time cards etc) are completed accurately & audits customer documentation (AWB, customs paperwork, commercial invoice etc) to ensure it is accurate and complete. Compiles, files & processes paperwork in accordance with local procedures. Delivers packages & processes exceptions (R.O.D.'s, incorrect addresses, customer closed etc) in the most logical order to achieve the different service commitments whilst ensuring that all standard procedures are followed & taking account of the customers needs.
