About Our Client
A major telecommunications operator with presence across the Middle East.Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, this person will have the following responsabilities:
- Provide M&A and venture capital legal advice in respect of transactions across multiple jurisdictions (often cross-border), adopting a collaborative business-partnering approach.
- Co-ordinate and manage external legal support and collaborate with other colleagues (e.g. from M&A, venture capital, finance, tax, HR teams) to provide effective legal support to wider business colleagues in relation to structuring, term sheets, due diligence, closing and post-closing integration.
- Support on other strategic transactions and corporate finance projects.
- Develop and manage, with assistance of external counsel, foreign direct investment and merger control strategy.
The Successful Applicant
- 4+ years of experience in Corporate M&A
- Previous experience in Private Practice will be valued
- Experience in a telecommunications or technology company
- Common Law qualified.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex transactions or projects
