We're currently developing a new residential building in Abu Dhabi and are seeking a capable and experienced Construction Manager to join our team and oversee project delivery through the construction phase.

2. Purpose of Role:

We are looking for a hands-on, site-based Construction Manager to lead the day-to-day construction oversight of our Abu Dhabi development. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the project is delivered on time, to specification, and to the highest quality. The ideal candidate has experience working client-side (developer) during the construction phase of residential or mixed-use developments in the UAE.

3. Key Role Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities from pre-mobilization through to completion and handover Support the procurement process for the Main Works contractor and critical packages Monitor contractor performance, site logistics, program adherence, and quality control Act as the primary on-site representative of Hive, managing day-to-day communication with the contractor and consultants Participate in regular site meetings, progress reviews, and reporting Proactively identify and manage construction risks and interface issues Collaborate closely with the internal Design Lead to ensure buildability, adherence to design intent, and resolution of site-related design matters Assist with approvals, inspections, and coordination with relevant authorities

4. Ideal Candidate Profile:

Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in construction/project delivery roles UAE-based experience is essential; familiarity with Abu Dhabi is an advantage Prior experience working on the developer/client side preferred; consultant or contractor backgrounds also considered Proven track record delivering mid- to high-rise residential projects Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to drive site progress and manage multiple stakeholders Exposure to procurement processes and contract administration is a bonus

5. Qualifications

Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field PMP, MRICS, or equivalent credentials a plus
