About the role: As a Contracts Executive within our company, your primary responsibility will be to manage and administer a diverse portfolio of contracts, covering aircraft leasing, company agreements, IT contracts, and similar types of contracts. Apply your expertise in contract management, negotiation, and risk mitigation to contribute to the success and efficiency of our organization while ensuring compliance and maintaining strong relationships with our partners and vendors. Your specific duties and responsibilities will include:
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of contracts, including contract drafting, negotiation, execution, and renewal. Ensure compliance with contract terms, conditions, and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and legal counsel to negotiate and draft contracts that align with the company's objectives, mitigate risks, and protect the company's interests.
  • Establish standardized templates, guidelines, and best practices for contract creation, including terms and conditions, legal clauses, and compliance requirements. Promote adherence to these standards across the organization.
  • Monitor and enforce contract compliance, including payment terms, service level agreements, intellectual property rights, confidentiality, and data protection. Address any potential contractual breaches and deviations promptly.
  • Identify potential risks within contracts and develop strategies to mitigate them. Conduct thorough risk assessments, propose risk mitigation measures, and ensure appropriate insurance coverage is in place.
  • Liaise with external vendors and service providers to establish and maintain contractual relationships. Ensure vendors meet contractual obligations, service standards, and performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate and organized contract documentation and records. Track contract milestones, amendments, and correspondence. Ensure that contracts are easily accessible and readily available for reference.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, procurement, finance, HR, and IT departments, to ensure alignment and coordination in contract management processes and practices.
  • Conduct a thorough assessment of the company's contract management needs and objectives. Research and evaluate contract management software solutions that align with the organization's requirements and budget
  • Develop and optimize a streamlined workflow for managing contracts and agreements. Define clear processes for contract creation, negotiation, approval, execution, and renewal. Identify and address bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the existing contract management workflow.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on using the contract management system effectively. Offer guidance and assistance in navigating the system, creating contracts, and accessing contract-related information.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field. A relevant master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in contract management, preferably within the aviation industry, with a focus on aircraft leasing and operations.
  • Strong knowledge of aviation industry contracts, including lease agreements, service contracts, and vendor agreements.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders effectively.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills to review and interpret complex contractual documents.
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with relevant aviation regulations and legal frameworks.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office suite.
  • Professional certifications in contract management or related fields are desirable.
