Organization: In its eight years of existence, O.U.R. has helped rescue thousands of victims and worked in over 30 countries and all 50 states in the U.S. We exist to rescue children and women from sex trafficking and exploitation. Basic Function: Reporting to the Regional Director of Operations – Africa and the Middle East, this full-time Contractor role will serve as the subject matter expert in investigations, training, and other law enforcement related tasks. The successful candidate will support efforts to develop and expand operations throughout Africa and the Middle East. Responsibilities:
Support the Regional Director of Operations, Area Managers and Country Managers to develop and expand operations throughout the region
Develop productive relationships with law enforcement, government agency and non-profit organizations throughout the region
Assist Country Managers to identify, create and execute capacity building programs
Mentor individuals and teams responsible for investigations
Deliver training to law enforcement and other government agencies
Assess equipment requirements of host government agencies and support the purchase and training in the use of specialist equipment
Advise host government agencies on pre-arrest, arrest and post-arrest investigative support
Implement a positive company culture and core values of OUR
Other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
Ability to relocate to Dubai
Willingness to travel throughout Africa and the Middle East (up to 50%)
At least 8 years of experience conducting investigations, ideally with exposure to human trafficking and sexual exploitation crimes
Knowledge of open-source intelligence techniques
Strong ability to build relationships
Strong, regional networks and experience living and working in the region - preferred
Able to pass a background check and criminal record check
