Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

Contract Manager

to oversee the contractual and commercial aspects of diverse construction and engineering projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the full contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance with UAE laws and industry standards, and mitigating contractual risks. This role requires strong legal, financial, and negotiation skills and the ability to work across multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for construction, civil engineering, and commercial development projects. Ensure all contractual agreements comply with UAE laws, regulations, and internal policies. Manage the entire contract lifecycle, including amendments, renewals, extensions, and close-out. Identify and mitigate contractual risks, including delays, disputes, penalties, and non-compliance issues. Administer contracts for clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring deliverables and obligations are met. Handle claims, variations, and delay analysis in coordination with project, legal, and commercial teams. Monitor project milestones, payment terms, liquidated damages, and potential financial exposure. Collaborate closely with legal counsel, clients, contractors, and internal project teams to resolve issues. Maintain organized records for contracts, correspondence, change orders, claims, and disputes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Law, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. 7-10 years of relevant experience, including

at least 5 years of UAE experience

. Solid knowledge of UAE contract law, FIDIC conditions, and dispute resolution procedures. Strong negotiation and analytical skills with attention to detail and risk management. Ability to manage multiple contracts and stakeholders across different sectors. Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of contract management tools is an added advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
