Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented

Assistant Contract Manager

to support the contractual and commercial management of construction and civil engineering projects across various sectors. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in contract administration, risk mitigation, and negotiation, with a solid understanding of UAE legal and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to construction, civil engineering, and commercial projects. Ensure all contractual documents align with local laws, regulatory standards, and company policies. Manage contract lifecycle including amendments, extensions, and terminations. Identify, evaluate, and mitigate contractual risks such as delays, disputes, and penalties. Administer contracts for clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, flagging risks and ensuring compliance. Handle contractual claims, variations, and delay analysis, supporting project and legal teams. Review and monitor payment terms, project milestones, liquidated damages, and financial exposure. Collaborate with internal teams, legal counsel, clients, contractors, and subcontractors. Maintain organized records of contracts, correspondence, change orders, and claim documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in

Civil Engineering, Law, Quantity Surveying

, or a related field. Minimum

7-10 years

of relevant experience, including at least

5 years in the UAE

. Strong understanding of

contract law

, FIDIC conditions, and construction claims procedures. Excellent
