We are seeking a skilled and passionate

Continental Cook

to join our culinary team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality continental dishes, managing food prep and kitchen hygiene, and ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. This role is integral to delivering a premium experience to our customers in a fast-paced catering or cloud kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of continental dishes including pasta, steaks, grills, soups, salads, and sauces. Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation. Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency across orders. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and dispatch of orders. Monitor stock levels and communicate with the procurement team for inventory needs. Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality food safety and hygiene standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and all cooking stations. Stay updated with current food trends and suggest new menu ideas or improvements. Assist in training junior kitchen staff when required.

Requirements:

Proven experience (minimum 2-3 years) as a Commi-1 or as DCDP in Continental Cuisine in a professional kitchen, preferably in a cloud kitchen or catering environment. Sound knowledge of continental cuisine and international food preparation techniques. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. Strong attention to detail and passion for quality and innovation. Basic understanding of HACCP and Dubai Municipality food safety regulations. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Culinary degree or professional chef certification is a plus. Must be currently based in UAE or willing to relocate to Dubai.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with kitchen management systems or POS-linked food order platforms. Team player with good communication and time management skills. Multilingual skills (English required; Hindi a plus).
