The Consulting System Engineer for the Central Management & Analytics is responsible for presenting and managing the pre-sales and technical aspects of the Fortinet Central Management & Analytics proposition and service offerings to our most important partners and customers. Consulting Engineers are Fortinet ultimate technical solutions providers within the Global Sales Organization. They must demonstrate a deep knowledge in one or more technical areas and domains. Consulting Engineers are the Fortinet Architect and Technical Authority and support the regional pre-sales teams by leading current and prospective technology to the partners, customers, and internal pre-sales teams. The Consulting System Engineer for the Central Management & Analytics is responsible for presenting and managing the pre-sales and technical aspects of the Fortinet Central Management & Analytics proposition and service offerings to our most important partners and customers. Consulting Engineers are Fortinet ultimate technical solutions providers within the Global Sales Organization. They must demonstrate a deep knowledge in one or more technical areas and domains. Consulting Engineers are the Fortinet Architect and Technical Authority and support the regional pre-sales teams by leading current and prospective technology to the partners, customers, and internal pre-sales teams. Objective: You will act as a strategic and essential component of the sales process. You will:
- Work closely with the pre-sales team to promote and position our Portfolio of Central Management & Analytics products (FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer and FortiPortal to mention few of them).
- Drive, educate and assist the field pre-sales engineers
- Analyze and consolidate Customers\xe2\x80\x99 requirements then report product evolution requests to product managers
- Consulting activity that includes (not exhaustive list):
- RFPs/RFIs assistance
- Supporting key projects to ensure Fortinet success
- Leading technical discussions, articulating the technology, and demonstrating differentiated value
- Conducting compelling solution presentation, demonstrations and POCs
- Building high quality technical material to support sales activities (Pre-sales decks, solution brief, white papers, success stories, etc.)
- Designing pre-sales training/workshop materials to effectively disseminate product knowledge to the Sales Team and Channel
- Point of contact for the Product Management team: you will be responsible to report and consolidate customer requirements, understand, and synthetize the use cases, write, and prioritize feature requests
- Vendor experience, especially if it provides a Central Management & Monitoring solution
- Proficient with TCP/IP network stack
- Practical understanding of VPN, Dynamic Routing, SD-WAN, Wireless technologies, Public Cloud To travel as required in INTL region
- Devops experience is a strong plus (CI/CD, Python, Ansible, Terraform, etc.)
- To travel as required in EMEA (eventually APAC) region
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Feeling excited about working hard in a challenging, fast-paced environment
- IT degree in computing/networking/cybersecurity or equivalent
- At least 5 years pre-sales experience required
