: :Senior ITS EngineerDubai, UAE Parsons is seeking to fill a position of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Senior Engineer in our Connected Communities Division. This position requires execution of ITS and signal system projects in Dubai and the GCC region related to integration, design, design-build and construction. Systems engineering related to systems integration, design, design build, construction and implementation of ITS and signal system projects.What You'll Be Doing:Leading day-to-day high-level systems engineering and management, includingDirecting the work of project engineering teams, checking, monitoring and ensuring tasks are completed to technical, schedule and cost requirementsIdentifying and coordinating with other technical disciplines and clients as required on technical aspectsEvaluating engineering problems and consulting with technical experts, as necessary, to develop cost effective and robust solutionsIdentifying and applying appropriate design aidsAssisting with the preparation of bid documents, providing information for reports and participating in particular investigations as requiredWorking and communicating on a diverse range of projectsUndertaking presentations to clients and senior managementPreparing feasibility studies, designs, specifications, program and cost estimates for specific jobsStaying current with advances in technology applicable to the delivery of leading-edge ITS solutionsWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Transportation EngineeringMinimum of 9 years of applicable systems engineering experienceKnowledge of/experience with ITS Field Infrastructure Design, Integration, and Testing, Smart Cities Infrastructure/concepts, Fiber and Wireless Communications, Connected and Autonomous Vehicle technology, ATMS, ATDM and ICMProficient verbal communication - speaking and listening skills - with both technical and non-technical peopleEffective presentation skills - public speaking and development of visual aidsEffective written communicationProficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of tools (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Project, etc.)Minimum Clearance Required to Start:Not Applicable/NoneParsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
