Position Overview

What You'll Do

• Perform a broad spectrum of surgical procedures with precision, including elective and emergency surgeries
• Develop customized treatment plans and surgical strategies based on patient conditions
• Lead pre-operative consultations, risk assessments, and post-operative follow-ups
• Ensure optimal patient recovery by overseeing monitoring, pain management, and infection control
• Coordinate with anesthesiologists, radiologists, and other specialists to ensure surgical safety and multidisciplinary care
• Educate, train, and supervise junior surgeons, residents, and nursing teams in clinical best practices
• Remain current with evolving surgical innovations and minimally invasive techniques
• Participate in audits, clinical reviews, and academic research initiatives
• Uphold high standards of documentation, patient confidentiality, and ethical medical practice

Ideal Profile

• Medical degree (MD, MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution
• Board certification in General Surgery
• Valid UAE medical license (or eligibility to obtain DHA/DOH/MOH license)
• Minimum of 5 years' post-board experience in surgical practice
• Proven expertise in laparoscopic, open, and emergency surgical techniques
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
• Excellent clinical judgment, patient communication, and teamwork skills
• Dedication to evidence-based medicine and continuous learning
