Job Summary: As the Chief Compliance Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our company\'s adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the implementation and maintenance of effective compliance programs, conducting risk assessments, and providing guidance to the organization\'s management and employees on compliance matters. Key Responsibilities: Develop and Implement Compliance Policies: Design, update, and communicate compliance policies and procedures that align with UAE regulations and industry best practices. Ensure policies are accessible and comprehensible to all employees. Risk Assessments: Conduct regular compliance risk assessments to identify potential areas of vulnerability and assess the effectiveness of existing controls. Prepare and implement action plans to mitigate identified risks. Compliance Training: Organize and deliver compliance training sessions for all employees, focusing on key compliance areas, regulatory changes, and ethical standards. Monitor training effectiveness and address any knowledge gaps. Compliance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish a robust compliance monitoring system to track adherence to regulations and internal policies. Generate periodic compliance reports for senior management and the board of directors. Regulatory Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact with relevant UAE regulatory authorities. Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations and ensure timely compliance with any new requirements. Investigation and Reporting: Conduct internal investigations of potential compliance violations, incidents, or ethical concerns. Report findings to the appropriate parties and recommend corrective actions when necessary. External Audit Coordination: Facilitate external compliance audits and reviews, working closely with external auditors to ensure smooth and efficient processes. Compliance Communication: Foster a culture of compliance and ethical behaviour across the organization through effective communication and awareness campaigns. Compliance Oversight: Work closely with other departments, such as Underwriters, Operations, Human Resources, and Accounts Team, to ensure that compliance considerations are integrated into their respective functions. Central Bank UAE Portal: Complete Management of CB UAE Portal Qualifications and Requirements: \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. \xc2\xb7 A relevant advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CCEP, CAMS, ACCA) is a plus. \xc2\xb7 Proven experience 5 \xe2\x80\x93 10 years in a senior compliance role within the financial services or regulated industries, with a strong understanding of UAE regulatory landscape. \xc2\xb7 Solid knowledge of Anti-Money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) regulations and their practical implementation. \xc2\xb7 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. \xc2\xb7 Analytical mindset, capable of identifying compliance risks and proposing effective solutions. \xc2\xb7 Strong leadership qualities with the ability to lead and inspire a team of compliance professionals. \xc2\xb7 High ethical standards and a commitment to upholding integrity in all business dealings.
