? Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the daily preparation and production of pastries, desserts, and baked goods
Follow recipes and instructions given by the Pastry Chef or senior kitchen staff
Ensure consistent presentation and quality of all pastry items
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry section
Assist in inventory control and stock rotation
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
Support with mise en place and service preparation
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service
Stay updated with current pastry trends and techniques
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of pastry and baking techniques
Culinary or pastry qualification is preferred
Previous experience in a professional kitchen is a plus but not mandatory
Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
